D’banj made his mind known to public

Last week, sensational singer, D’banj made his mind known in an interview with Olisa on The Truth. However, if you think you have heard it all, then you are wrong as the part 2 of the interview is explosive!

The singer who opened up on why the Mo’Hits Records split and how fellow artiste, DR Sid caused the split amidst many other issues also talked on other explosive revelations in the full video.
Here are highlights of the 2nd part of the interview he had with Olisa Adibua:
1. D’Banj said that Don Jazzy told him that whenever he hears his (D’Banj’s) voice on the radio he always changes the station, That statement, D’banj said, was very hurtful. It hurt him so bad that he left his house and sought refuge in a hotel and then moved on to South Africa.
2. He never expected Oliver Twist to be such a huge hit and was in South Africa when it blew up in London and he had to rush over there. He believes the song’s sudden success was God’s way of taking him away from all the drama back home in Nigeria.

YABATECH have declared 22-day holiday for elections

The Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, has directed its full-time and part-time students to proceed on a 22-day holiday to enable them to exercise their civic rights during next month’s general elections.
This was contained in a bulletin by Head, Public Relations Unit of the college, Mr Charles Oni.
According to the bulletin, the holiday will start from February 11 and end on March 4.
It also stated that hostels and lecture theatres would be under lock and key throughout the period.
The bulletin quoted the Rector of the college, Dr Margaret Ladipo, as appealing to the students to comport themselves during the holiday.

YBNL boss and fiancé Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman welcomed their bouncing baby boy on Friday, January 30, 2014….Bukunmi as she is fondly called took delivery of the child at St Ives Hospital, Ikeja. Mother and child are said to be doing fine.
The couple have already christened the child – his name is Olamidele.
An excited Olamide shared the good news on his Instsgram page;
