GLO 3GIG FOR N1000 FLEXING ON PC

Hello readers, 

its time we make other alternatives that could enable us surf

at a reduced cost.

ON this post today, headof will be telling us how best to surf with our GLO BB plans on our PC.

Glo download speed is not up to

Etisalat but it still gives 300kps

on internet download manager which is fair.

NOTE: I did not test with daily or

weekly subscription but it

should work. | i tested with only

BLACKBERRY curve3 running

operating system 6 but it

should work with all BB.

THIS IS HOW ITS DONE

Get your BB and

insert YOUR glo sim, recharge with 

1000 naira. make sure

you switch off your data network things wont get complicated.

its under mobile network

settings, after turning off your data,switch to

EDGE/GSM. 

Glo activates BIS on edge

faster than 3G.

Infact at times when i turn on the

phone and BIS does Not come on

3G i reboot while its on edge,

after YOU HAVE changed to

EDGE,send COMONTH to 777 in a

text message.

if YOU do any other USSD? You are

on Your own. You will or not get

a pending message but wait

maximum 5 mins u will get a

BLACKBERRY subscription successful

message, Then SEND "STATUS" to 777 to confirm your

subscription. 

Once it tells you your monthly

subscription with 3GIG will expire

ON XXXXX DAYS,then YOU are activated.

Next remove your battery and

reinsert after like 2 minutes,its

called soft reset. once your phone

comes on,

go to network options and

turn on the data. 

wait for like 1 min and you will see your small

letter edge change to capital

letter.

then wait like 5mins so your BB

can configure on The

network.then reboot or do a

battery pull.

When it reboots ,it should bring

capital edge, next go to

network options and change to

3G,it should bring 3G with the BB

logo in front of it, then u are

connected.

lastly connect the BB to the

computer with you USB cable,

Open your blackberry desktop

software, 

Go to tools, 

mobile

internet settings 

and configure

your

ACCESS POINT :blackberry.net

USERNAME: gloflat

PASSWORD: gloflat.

then click save.then go to

tools,start mobile internet.it will

connect one hand.i have used it

severally so

follow d instructions carefully. it will

browse,streams downloads etc.

Also if you have BB subscription

existing on your GLO sim,

you can also use

it instead of doing a new

one.

tested only with the code

above.

Note:u must use the BB as a

modem as explained above, any

other method i dont know

about it.
